@PlatonicSociety Plato belived in 4 leves of existence, where the highest form was the world of idea's, seaconf the level of math and numbers, third the real world we live in, and forth the level of art,(wich he despised) I dont know about god, but he wrote aboute a creature he called The Demiurge, wich came to mean something like "creator" (The Demiurg is belived to be an evil demond of some kind..?)

@americanliberal09 To an extent. Aristotle's beliefs about spontaneous generation and many apparently true things were very false, but they appeared more realistic on the surface. Plato is a very deep, profound thinker, far more so than empiricists like Sagan have the courage to realize.
