Speaking from experience; it is most helpful to get all arrest records with favorable dispositions sealed. Also go to the court clerks office where the arrest (s) occured and get disposition documents. You can take it a step further if you've accumalated some time since the offense and apply for a relief from disability or exemption from disability, depending on the your particular states rules regarding this action. Upon applying you will find out how much time is required to qualify.

Divide each new interview opportunity into 3 phases. Then prepare your objectives for the next three calls or meetings. Hint: Interview #1 should never be to get hired, but to gain insight from the interviewer you can apply to interview #2 with another employer!
