@TorturedSoulBoy I think it was meant only considering Public schools and Berkeley has many programs that beats Stanfords' and vice versa.

@82yogibear Right, and you obviously didn't get a degree from Cal either since you're equating proper acquisition of the English language with intellectual ability; which is a logically unsound assumption (some of the smartest people in the world don't even speak proper English: do your research on Nobel winners, you'll see what I mean).

Berkeley looks at both UW and WGPA so they can get both perspectives. But they will give weight to the WGPA as that really shows what you've accomplished.

in my sophomore and junior years, I have a 3.75 UW and 4.57 Weighted. the reason my weighted is so high is because I took 2 APs sophomore year and 5 APs junior year. My question is: Will Berkeley care that my UW is so low? Or will they care about my WGPA because it shows that I tk lots of APs?
Also, is the fact that i'm OOS gonna hurt me too much?
thanks

I was wondering if Berkeley prefers IB students over AP students. Help please

"It's the hardest school to get in to." Hahahahahaha. You should try Stanford. |
