I've been watching some events on YouTube and over at Vloggerheads and draw some of my own conclusions about human nature. Unfortunately, I'm not at all encouraged by what I see. I do know I have met some incredibly kind, intelligent and creative people online. But I've also see the dark side. And I have yet to figure out how you balance the two. Perhaps you don't. Perhaps you need the good AND the bad so you can discern the difference for yourself. You can't truly know bad unless you have good and you can't truly know what is good without having the bad. Who knows. Just a philosophical rant for the day

@RitchM I've been wondering that for the longest. Honestly the thought of it kind of bothers me. You never know what idiot that smiles in your face is the one talking nonsense about you on the internet.

@LanternsGreenAura Why should anyone have to tolerate, or as you put it "look past" anything online? Don't lecture people who have enough sense to not act like mindless freaks online. Direct that BS at the people who are doing it. And the things that go on online need to be taken more seriously, because frankly the internet has become a cesspool full of idiots like taker6965. There are far too many naive, uneducated people on the internet. It's time someone stand up.

@taker6865 You're proving his point. There is nothing wrong with online communities, in theory at least. And there is nothing wrong with joining them, after all millions of people frequent some forums. The problem with the internet and the reason why the internet gets such a horrible rep is because of how people like you behave. There was no reason to post that comment. This man was just being honest about his experience online. And based on why I've seen online, I agree with him.

@UpDownMostly and old people shouldn't be on the internet, what happened to watching Murder She Wrote or something?
LanternsGreenAura (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
This guy need to play Xbox live then he`ll understand the cut throat attitude that comes from this younger generation, its not to be taken seriously but older generations such as your self, not to be rude, do not understand that way of thinking. I do agree with you in some cases but i feel you are taking this way to seriously your a grown man you should know to look past the immaturity thats online.

You don't need bad people, they just have to understand or be aware of how being bad is negative towards their environment. Not like bad will disappear but more or less be suppressed. since I see bad as negative effect towards life (or human race,) and good as positive. Animals aren't yet intelligent enough to comprehend this but humans can.

Sine people need escapades. Unfortunately, some "trolls" are actually like that in real life. Not all of course, but some are.

come on now dont be slow everybody is mentally ill , the world isnt static its like freid said , in ppl not ill , the drives are simply balanced out well , like the ability to jump a certain height What I wanted to note, is that its not at all unusual that people of similar kind to conflict each other and not other people
UpDownMostly (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Point made, see trolls are mentally ill

Probably because Renetto never cared about you in the first place. Nor should he. He never needed the hugbox fragile individuals like you guys were so desperate for in the first place. He could always give and take, and his disinterest was justified in this case. Paul trolled all of you. Your e-dreams getting crushed is just sweet fucking irony now. Keep searching for that vlogger Shangri-La.
